Thank you to everyone who participated in our Officer Appreciation Reception on Friday evening, June 21, 2013, as well as our competition, in the Great Lenexa BBQ Battle on Saturday! We had a terrific turnout by local law enforcement in particular including Lenexa Police Chief Tom Hongslo and his sons. We even had a retired Kansas patrol officer stop by who used our TR-6 radar which we launched in 1970! CEO, Andrew Milner, was on-site to meet the customers and test the (“spectacular”) ribs.
We had a respectable finish in the BBQ competition – out of 183 teams, we finished in 56th place with a total score of 640.5710.
