The StealthStat II is an easy cost effective way to collect traffic data. The IP-68 waterproof enclosure houses a Kustom K-Band Directional RADAR and is easily mounted by one person on most roadside poles. The StealthStat II shares the same mounting bracket as Kustom Signals’ PMD 10/12 RADAR displays, allowing you to take down the StealthStat II and mount the PMD 10 or PMD 12 radar display on the same bracket!
The StealthStat II inconspicuously gathers the traffic data that you need. To retrieve data, you can wirelessly download surveys using the SMARTstat PC application, the SMARTstat Lite Android application, or insert a USB thumb drive to collect files. It also utilizes the highly accurate free flow traffic count method that does not require road tubes. The battery is long lasting with an 8 day run time under typical use, which can be extended to indefinite use with the addition of the 20W solar option.
Identify speed issues and communicate to your communities and command staff by deploying Kustom’s speed awareness products and focused speed enforcement. Utilizing SMARTstat analysis software, agencies are able to collect and analyze approaching, receding or traffic flow in both directions. Data can be compiled into tables and graphs with manual and automatic report generation. Data, graphs and tables are easily exported for other reporting tools as well.
