Argus Configurator

Use the General tab to define settings for Argus BWC. Settings include Date and Time format, and others.

The LCD is located on the top of Argus BWC. These settings determine how long the LCD will stay illuminated.

Measurements used by the device. It will report information back in these units and also use these for event recording meta-data.

Video settings let you define the video encoding rate for Argus BWC.

The Recorded On Screen Display (OSD) tab determines if and how the OSD is utilized. “OSD Integrated with Video” means that OSD items will be recorded permanently as part of the original evidence file. “OSD Seperate from Video” means the OSD items are not part of the original evidence file.

Recording Reminders are audible beeps and vibrations that emit from Argus BWC to remind the user that recording is in progress.

The Recording Settings tab provides the settings that Argus BWC will use when event recordings take place. These actions can include pre-recording content, pre-recording content and linkage recordings.

SOS Alarm is an alarm alert recording type initiated by the officer. When this event recording begins, an alarm notification will be sent to Argus Data Vault.

If you are utilizing the Smart Holster Sensor with Argus BWC, this will trigger the device to start recording if it detects a holster removal. This feature requires the Smart Holster Module (sold separately).

Determines If remote live streaming can be initiated to the device. Note: This feature is only available if the device is equipped with an active 4G SIM or has an active WIFI connection. This feature requires your Argus Data Vault to have external internet access. Contact your IT resource if you require assistance.

This tab allows for the modification of Intense Movement Alarm settings. An intense movement alarm is an event recording type that will automatically start if Argus BWC detects rapid movement.

This tab allows for the modification of Voice Detection settings. Voice Detection allows for Argus BWC to automatically start an event recording if key phrases are detected. For example; ‘drop the weapon’ or ‘Put your hands up’ etc.

Settings that determine how and when Argus ICV MDVR is powered on. This action is associated with vehicle ignition.

The sleep tab is to set the mode when the Argus ICV system enters sleep mode. Sleep mode is a powered off state.

Settings that determine how your device communicates with wireless access points.

The Live On Screen Display (OSD) tab allows the user to determine if OSD items are displayed on the live view, and where it is placed on the video screen if enabled. Select if you would like to use Kustom Signals recommended default settings or determine where you would like the available items to be displayed. If you are selecting your own placement and do not want an item displayed, select “Disabled”.

The Video Settings tab defines the settings that Argus ICV will use when event recordings take place. These actions can include pre-recording content, pre-recording content and linkage recordings. Higher resolution does use more storage space. Reducing the resolution will save storage space on the Argus ICV MDVR.
