April Is Distracted Driving Awareness Month

April is Distracted Driving Awareness Month, which gives law enforcement the perfect opportunity to highlight the dangers of distracted driving through creative awareness and enforcement campaigns. It’s also a great chance for agencies to join together in larger initiatives such as including DOT’s “U Drive. U Text. U Pay” and DOT/IACP’s Drive to Save Lives.

Look for an article in May’s Police Chief on distracted driving.
