Managing Your Evidence Safely with the ProLog Video Laser Back Office

From the daily work of speed enforcement to providing essential evidence in court, capturing and storing evidence is a vital part of an officer’s job. This is why it is so important to find a device that not only instantly and accurately records data, but also stores it in a secure and easy-to-access location. With so many new tools on the market, it can be difficult to find a video laser gun that offers both cutting-edge technology and an integrated storage solution you can rely on.

Thankfully, our ProLog video laser back office solution is designed to be seamlessly integrated with our video laser guns to help manage and interpret data, and most importantly, keep your evidence safe.

Capturing Detailed Data

Lasercam4 2

Although LiDAR guns are an excellent tool for recording speed, the standard devices on the market often fail to capture the full picture of what happens on the road.

As well as using LiDAR technology, our LaserCam 4 records high-quality video footage, and is able to collect continuous speed readings from a single vehicle capturing all of your target trackings. This gives you clearer evidence of any infractions, including how long a driver has been speeding, while the video can help you identify other serious violations, such as someone not wearing a seatbelt or using their cell phone while at the wheel.

Users can immediately review the captured footage, making the LaserCam 4 an invaluable tool while on the job. With up to 64 GB of internal storage, it can record up to 33 hours of continuous video; this footage can then be securely transferred to other devices via WiFi and USB with AES 256 encryption.

Integration With ProLog

Prolog Display

Evidence from the LaserCam 4, ProLaser 4 Events, and PL video devices, can all easily be uploaded to our ProLog video laser back office. After a quick transfer, users can easily select and review the data they’ve captured.

Once the footage is on the database, users can apply our custom-designed data analysis tools, such as the speed vs time tracking history graph, to interpret their videos in a clear and informative manner. Precise details – such as the exact moment and location of the occurrence, the car’s number plate, and how long the driver was driving over the speed limit – can all be assessed.

These reports can be automatically generated and are used to help inform the police officer’s decisions, provide evidence in a court of law, or even act as valuable training sources.

Need An Upgrade?

While our ProLog Lite package comes with all of these features discussed, our ProLog Standard and ProLog Client packages can provide agencies with even more advanced and detailed information.

With the ProLog Standard package, officers can simultaneously track and plot multiple devices by GPS, and then export the data into almost any format. Once uploaded, our very own team at Kustom Signals will be personally on hand to administer and maintain your ProLog database, available to offer support and resolve any issues or questions that may arise.

As our most exclusive package, the ProLog Standard Client also provides users with the option to manage several devices from multiple locations and then upload all data to a centralized server, ensuring that your data is held in one place while at the same time accessible from all of your devices. Syncing all your tools in this way makes it easier for you to access the information you need while keeping your files protected.

Whichever option best suits your needs, you can rest assured that, thanks to our ProLog video laser back office, your files will be safe as you create, assess, and share detailed reports that help you perform your job without any additional concerns.
